Anti-arthritic drugs are defined as medicines that reduce or alleviate symptoms of arthritis. Medications such as aspirin, celecoxib, diclofenac, diflunisal, etodolac, fenoprofen, flurbiprofen, ibuprofen, indomethacin, ketoprofen, ketorolac, meloxicam, nabumetone, naproxen, oxaprozin, piroxicam, salsalate, sulfidic, and tolmetin are known to reduce the symptoms of arthritis. The most common side effects of these drugs are stomach problems including pain, constipation, diarrhea, gas, nausea, and ulcers, kidney problems, anemia, dizziness, swelling in the legs, abnormal liver tests, headaches, easy bruising, ringing in the ears, and rash.
