Extracted through steam distillation of the leaves and flowers of the Hyssop plant. Known as a holy or sacred herb during ancient times, Hyssop is found mainly in the Mediterranean region.

Benefits and Uses

Digestive: Stimulates the gastric juices, including the enzymes that aid in digestion, which helps to break down food in the stomach and facilitate the absorption of vitamins and nutrients.

Stimulant: Hyssop stimulates the body’s metabolism, which aids in digestion and the absorption of nutrients. It also activates the immune system, protecting the body from infections.

Vermifuge: Hyssop kills parasites, both internal and external, and is very effective at eliminating them from the body.

Anti-septic: When applied to wounds, Hyssop keeps them from becoming infected. It also aids in the prevention of Tetanus when applied to a scratch or wound from rusty surfaces.


Should not be used during pregnancy or those with epilepsy.
