Benefits and Uses

Sleep: Lavender is well-known for it’s calming qualities, which produce restful sleep. It is particularly effective in babies and young children, as well as the elderly. Lavender oil can be spritzed onto bed linens at night to promote a good night’s sleep. It is a widely used remedy for insomnia.

Nervous System: The calming scent of lavender oil has long been recognized as an effective treatment for migraines, nervous system disorders, anxiety, depression and emotional stress.

Analgesic: Recognized as an effective remedy for sore and tired muscles, rheumatism, backache and general discomfort. Also found to be effective in speeding healing on post-operative patients when mixed with the flow of oxygen.

Acne: One of the most effective treatments for acne—especially stubborn acne. Has been shown to reduce the frequency of sores, heal sores already present and reduce the appearance of scarring from heavy acne breakouts.


Lavender should NEVER be ingested, as it can cause severe intestinal issues, as well as blurry vision, dizziness, vomiting, nausea and diarrhea. It should not be used by pregnant women or those who have diabetes.
